I attended beauty school back in 1999 at Citrus Heights beauty school. Growing up I was never a super girlie girl but I loved cutting my sister’s hair so after graduating high school I felt becoming a hairstylist would be a great way to put my self through college. Well college never happened, I loved doing hair and being in a salon atmosphere, to imagine myself doing anything different was out of the question.

Immediately after beauty school I started working at a salon that was an exclusive Sebastian salon so I was able to attend a couple of advanced cutting and coloring classes at the Sebastian School in LA. At this salon we participated in a lot of local fashion shows and also we were stylist to the Sacramento Kings cheerleaders! That was a great experience, not only did the cheerleaders come to the salon for all their hair needs but we went to all the home games to style their hair for the games.

When I had my son in 2004, I stopped working to be a stay at home Mom but I could never give up hair completely, it is my passion. I love working with people to make them look and feel the best about themselves.There is no better feeling than having someone become overjoyed with the new look they have been given.

I cant say there is an area that I like more than the other I love to color, cut and style hair. I love to create, I love to hear a clients vision of what they would like and I love the feeling when I have given that to them.

I have been in this business close to 11 years (with a little break of course) but I still can never imagine myself doing anything different.
